Hyderabadi vet Disha’s rape and murder has set ripples in the country questioning the security the society offers to women irrespective of the age. This incident has received a rage of outrage from all ends of political and film spectrums. While many of the celebrities took to the social media to vent out their anguish, MPs shook the Parliamentary session on Monday demanding a strict law regarding the rape and assaults on women. Joining the bandwagon of the celebrities who raised their voice to condemn the murder, Arjun Reddy director Sandeep Vanga posted a tweet against the Hyderabad rape case.
FEAR is the only factor which can change things radically in a society and FEAR should be the new rule. Brutal sentence will set an example. Now every girl in the country needs a firm guarantee.I request @warangalpolice to come into action.#RIPPriyankaReddy

“FEAR is the only factor which can change things radically in society and FEAR should be the new rule. The brutal sentence will set an example. Now every girl in the country needs a firm guarantee. I request @warangalpolice to come into action,” read his tweet. However, the director seems to taste his own medicine. Hours after dropping the post, Sandeep found himself amidst hundreds of trolls and slamming him for his tweet. The director who was once criticised for glorifying toxic masculinity, misogyny and patriarchy in his film was quoted ‘hypocrite’.
?? Ladies and Gentlemen i present to you the great and fabled hypocrisy of our society in action. Keep making feudal and patriarchal movies like Arjun Reddy and also keep preaching along with Vijay devarakonda about rule of law and values.

Make movies like Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, glorify toxic masculinity and tweet about fear. Not nice.
Got a chance to see some scenes in the movie. Not nice.
