Sania Mirza, the Hyderabadi Tennis player who has been enjoying her life as a doting mother made a remarkable comeback on Saturday. Proving that marriage and becoming a mother doesn’t stop one’s dream, the stylish tennis player made a winning return to the professional tennis circuit as she lifted the WTA Hobart International trophy with partner Nadiia Kichenok. In the first-ever tournament post her child’s birth, Sania clinches her 42nd title edging out Chinese players Shaui Peng and Shuai Zhang.
This is indeed a good start for Sania with Olympics and Australian Open this year. Sources revealed that she will team up with Rohan Bopanna in the mixed doubles category for her comeback in Grand Slam. Sania has taken a break in her career to grow family with Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik. After the birth of her son Izhaan, Mirza spent another year getting fit to return to the professional world. Sania recently posted a video of her undergoing hardcore workouts at the gym which left everyone in awe.
