While the capital region is blazing with the intensifying protests across 29 villages, the Amaravati farmers have been receiving support from across the globe. On Saturday, Andhraites living in Kuwait expressed solidarity with the families of the farmers who were protesting from the past sixteen days. A bunch of Telugu speaking people who formed into Amravati Conservation Council in Kuwait held a protest at Andalus Park raising slogan against the ‘three capital’ proposal. They were seen displaying placards which read ‘Save Amaravati’.
Speaking to the media, the members of the council demanded the Chief Minister Jagan to take back the capital shift decision. This move from the NRIs has hinted further protests from across the globe especially from the American NRIs where the density of Telugu people is said to be more.
