Schedule of Telangana State Formation ‘Dasaabdi’ Celebrations Released…!
The Telangana Chief Minister KCR in a review meeting that was conducted in his chambers at the Secretariat held on Tuesday, 23rd May 2023 decided to organise ‘Telangana State Formation ‘Dasaabdi’ Celebrations’ for 21 days from 2nd June 2023 to 22nd June 2023. To this extent, the day-to-day schedule of activities of the festival has been finalized by the Chief Minister KCR. It was decided to call for the District Collectors’ Conference on 25th May 2023 to discuss and finalise the arrangements and the activities to be conducted on the occasion of the Telangana State Formation, ‘Dasaabdi’ Celebrations.

The day-to-day schedule of Telangana State Formation ‘Dasaabdi’ Celebrations:
On 2nd June 2023…The National Flag will be unfurled: Chief Minister KCR will inaugurate ‘Telangana State Formation ‘Dasaabdi’ Celebrations’. CM KCR will pay tributes at the Martyrs’ Stupa, at Gun Park, Secunderabad. Afterwards, he will unfurl the National Flag on the premises of Dr. B R Ambedkar Telangana State Secretariat.
On 3rd June 2023…Farmer’s Day: Saturday, is celebrated as ‘Telangana Farmer’s Day’. On this occasion, various programs under the Agriculture Department will be conducted at the Rythu Vedikas across the state. Here, the programs highlight the achievements of the state in the agriculture sector, the supply of free electricity, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bima, and other schemes. Afterwards, there will be a community lunch…where the people’s representatives and officials join the farmers.
On 4th June 2023…Suraksha Divas: On Sunday, the Police Department will be organizing the ‘Suraksha Dinotsavam’. On this day, the Police Department shall conduct District and State level programs to explain the efforts of the Police Department to maintain law and order in the state, the friendly policing policy, and the efficient way of working of the Police Department and the services.
On 5th June 2023…Telangana Vijayotsavam: On Monday, ‘Telangana Vidyut Vijayotsavam’ will be celebrated. At the constituency level, a meeting would be organised with farmers, consumers, electricity workers, and public representatives. The qualitative change achieved by the Telangana State in the power sector will be explained in the meetings. Later on, in the evening a state-level meeting will be held at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. On the same day ‘Singareni Samburaalu’ will be celebrated.
On 6th June 2023…Industrial Progress Festival: On Tuesday, the ‘Telangana Industrial Progress Festival’ will be held. Meetings will be held in Telangana’s industrial and IT corridors. The progress achieved in these two sectors would be explained in those meetings.
On 7th June 2023…Irrigation Day: On Wednesday, ‘Irrigation Water Day’ will be observed. At each constituency level, there will be meetings to explain the record progress achieved in this sector. A meeting on the achievements of the Telangana State irrigation sector will be held at Hyderabad’s Ravindra Bharathi and the Irrigation Department will be conducting the same. Honourable Chief Minister KCR will attend this meeting.

On 8th June 2023…’Voorooraa Cheruvula Panduga’: On Thursday, ’Voorooraa Cheruvula Panduga’ will be organised. On this occasion, cultural programs with drums, bonaalu, and Batukammas will be conducted. Songs written by other poets on the pond including pond songs by Goreti Venkanna will be sung. On this day, fishermen will go on a procession displaying the fishermen’s nets. Meetings will be held on the embankments of the pond. Later on, the leaders and the people will be eating together on the embankment of the ponds.
On 9th June 2023…’ Telangana Sankshema Samburaalu’: On Friday, ‘Telangana Sankshema Samburaalu’ will be organised. Constituency-level meetings will be held with the beneficiaries of Asara Pensions, Kalyana Lakshmi, and other welfare schemes provided by the Telangana State Government. At Ravindra Bharathi, a meeting will be organised to explain how Telangana achieved the golden age in welfare and became a role model for the country.
On 10 June 2023…‘ Telangana Good Governance Day’: Saturday will be celebrated as ‘Telangana Good Governance Day’. District-level meetings will be convened at all district headquarters and people will be given the details about how the qualitative changes have been brought in the Governance. They also inform people about the benefits of the Government agencies working in tandem with all the stakeholders.
On 11th June 2023…’ Sahitya Dinotsavam’: On Sunday, ‘Telangana Sahitya Dinotsavam’ will be held. There will be district-level ‘Kavi Sammelanams’ at all the district headquarters and a state-level ‘Kavi Sammelanam’ will be conducted at Ravindra Bharathi. To reflect the existence of Telangana and the progress achieved by Telangana, contests will be conducted at all the district and state levels, and prizes would be given to the winners.
On 12th June 2023…’ Telangana Run’: On Monday, the Telangana run will be conducted. Under the aegis of the Telangana State Police Department, the Telangana Run program would be conducted. In all the constituencies, youth, students, people’s representatives, officials, and others would be participating in this event.
On 13th June 2023…‘Telangana Mahila Sankshema Dinotsavam’: On Tuesday, ‘Telangana Mahila Sankshema Dinotsavam’ will be celebrated. Best Woman Employees would be felicitated.
On 14th June 2023…’ Telangana Vaidya Aarogya Sakha Dinotsavam’: On Wednesday, ’Telangana Vaidya Aarogya Sakha Dinotsavam’ will be celebrated grandly. The details about the benefits to the people through the medical procedures followed by the government would be explained. On the same day, CM KCR will lay the foundation stone for the construction of a new building of a 2,000-bed super specialty hospital in NIMS and the expansion of NIMS.
On 15th June 2023…’ Telangana Palle Pragathi Dinotsavam’: On Thursday, ’Telangana Palle Pragathi Dinotsavam’ will be organised. Programs highlighting the progress achieved by the award-winning villages would be held. The award-winning best gram Panchayats Sarpanches and best Mandal award-winning MPPs would be felicitated.

On 16th June 2023…’ Telangana Pattana Pragathi Dinotsavam’: On Friday, ’Telangana Pattana Pragathi Dinotsavam’ will be held. Through this program…programs highlighting the achievements of every Corporation, Municipality, and city would be organised. There will be other programs giving details about the benefits enjoyed by the people through the Government schemes.
On 17th June 2023…’ Telangana Girijanotsavam’: On Saturday, ’Telangana Girijanotsavam’ will be organised. Meetings will be conducted in all the newly created Tribal villages.
On 18th June 2023…’Manchineella Panduga’: On Sunday, ’Manchineella Panduga’ Panduga will be organised.
On 19th June 2023…’ Telangana Harithotsavam’: On Monday, ’Telangana Harithotsavam’ will be there. A large-scale tree planting program will be conducted across the states in all the villages and towns…
On 20th June 2023…’ Telangana Vidya Dinotsavam’: On Tuesday, ’Telangana Vidya Dinotsavam’ will be conducted. Meetings will be organized across the state in all kinds of educational institutions. On that day all the ready to be occupied for conducting the classes ‘Mana Vooru – Mana Badi’ schools would be inaugurated. 10 thousand libraries and 16 thousand digital classrooms would be inaugurated. Essay writing, Drawing, and Singing competitions would be conducted for the students.
On 21st June 2023…’ Telangana Aadhyaathmika Dinotsavam’: On Wednesday, ’Telangana Aadhyaathmika Dinotsavam’ will be conducted. There will be different programs in the Temples, Masjids, and Churches across the Telangana State.
On 22nd June 2023…’Telangana Amarula Samsmarana Kaaryakramam’: On Thursday, ’Telangana Amarula Samsmarana Kaaryakramam’ will be held. All over Telangana – villages, towns, cities, and schools pay homage to the martyrs and observe silence. There would be resolutions recalling the sacrifices of the martyrs. On this occasion, the sacrifices of the martyrs will be commemorated. A massive rally would be organised on the Tank Bund with artists in honour of the martyrs. CM KCR will inaugurate the newly constructed Martyrs Memorial in Hyderabad on that day. Ministers and MLAs will be paying respects to the martyrs at their respective constituencies in the morning and join the meeting to be conducted at Hyderabad in the evening.
