The ardent of social media made possible many impossible things while it has become a platform for many unnecessary havocs, especially during the pandemic. One such chaos is the ‘Bill Gates microchip conspiracy theory’.
In the line of one of the conspiracy, coronavirus pandemic was a man-made one and a cover-up plan to implant trackable microchips. Shocking everyone, the conspiracy also claimed that Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is behind it.
Though there is no proper evidence to prove this, a video show about a Wisconsin company offering its employees the chance to have a microchip implant in their finger.
As shown in the video, the chip could use to buy snacks, log in to computers or activate the copy machine. The video falsely claims that ‘These kinds of digital ID chips will be implanted in everybody who takes the vaccine shot’.
Adding strength to the rumours, the head of the Russian Communist party this week said that so-called “globalists” supported “a covert mass chip implantation discursively referring to Bill and Malinda Gates. However, after months of speculations and many such conspiracies Microsoft co-founder and billionaire Bill Gates finally spoke out.
Gates who already donated $100 million towards developing the vaccine said the misinformation was so weird that he found it difficult to understand and denied he’s involved in any sort of microchipping conspiracy. “Hope the fake news dies down,” he added.
