It was learned that the survey conducted by the Department of Medical Health, revealed a number of interesting facts.
According to the survey, it was revealed that over 80 percent of the population in urban areas has developed corona antibodies while the number is 60 percent in rural areas. Authorities also found that 50 percent of the population developed antibodies through vaccination and another 25 per cent developed after recovering from COVID infection.
The medical officers included these details in the report submitted to the Chief Secretary. The official also included that a previous study by NIN and ICMR found that only 64% of people produced antibodies which increased to 80 percent.
