YTP president Sharmila said that Evusam was celebrated like a festival during the YS regime. Her campaign reached the 79th day of the pilgrimage. She claimed that YS has been very much appreciated for supporting farmers in any hardship, while KCR has been criticized for cheating them by making fake promises like forgiving debts.
She alleged that KCR had closed all the schemes for farmers, adding that KCR behaved as if he turned farmers into billionaires just by giving them Rs 5000 is blatant. Sharmila also said it was unfair to limit farmer insurance to 60 years.
“Our children should pursue caste-based jobs, while KCR’s children should rule kingdoms. This is unfair. If KCR becomes the CM again, the state will be destroyed. If you vote for him, the future will not forgive you. If the rulers are good, the people will lead a better life. We have put up a party for leadership like YSR,” Sharmila said.
She also criticized the BJP government for blowing the whistle on the people and playing tricks on them. She attacked the center for allegedly withholding all secession guarantees. Sharmila was angry with the Congress party. She said that voting for Congress is nothing different from voting for KCR. Further, she made it clear that she and her party would work towards the goal of bringing back the YS leadership in Telangana state.
