Under the unexpected and dramatic turn of events, the Thackerays are all set to reign the Marata state for the first time ever. ‘Maha Vikas Aghadi’, the ‘Maha’ alliance of Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress on Wednesday has unanimously elected Uddhav Thackeray to lead Maharastra for the next five years. The prominent leaders of the alliances have met Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari and staked claim to form the government. While the leaders submitted an official letter stating their claiming support of 166 MLAs to the governor, the latter asked the CM-to-be Uddhav to submit a list of the MLAs who are in support to his government in the Assembly by December 3. On this note, the Shiv Sena cadre afloat in the celebrations is making all necessary arrangements for the swearing-in ceremony going to be held at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. However, the Bombay High Court has raised concerns over holding such ceremonies on public ground.
Speaking to the media for the first time after taking oath as a legislator, Thackeray’s scion and young leader Aaditya Thackeray stated that Shiv Sena would work together with all the parties for the development of the state and that resolving the issues of women, farmers, and youth would be on their top priority. On the other hand, when probed by the media about the recent revelations, Former CM Devendra Fadnavis stated that he says the right thing at the right time.
