A day after recording the lowest daily rise in cases in the last four months, coronagraph in India logged further drop with 29,164 new cases taking the total country’s caseload past 88.7 lakh-mark.
As the recent health bulletin released by the union health ministry claimed the country’s tally to be 88,74,291 cases, 4,53,401 people are undergoing treatment while 82,90,371 patients have recovered so far.
The drop in cases follows a pattern of low detections on Mondays due to lesser testing over the weekend. Fatalities, on the other hand, mounted to 1,30,519 with 449 fresh corona deaths in the last 24 hours.

Andhra Pradesh reported a drastic drop in the cases while the state registered 753 new infection and 13 fatalities in 24 hours, as of the health bulletin released by the state government on Monday. The state so far logged 8,54,764 positive cases so far while the death toll stood at 6,881.
Fresh COVID cases in Telangana touched the tally to 2,58,828 with 952 new cases as of Tuesday morning. Four deaths during the last 24 hours ending at 8 pm on Monday pushing the toll to 1,410.
