TJS President Kodandaram was incensed that 317 Jivo was threatening the rights of employees. He questioned what it was like to release GOs overnight without discussing it with the unions. Utilizing employees in the Telangana movement, now ignoring them entirely seems very unfair and barbaric.
He said government sources should remember that a separate state was achieved only when everyone did the strikes together. Kodandaram took part in a dharna in front of the Collectorate under the auspices of the Teachers Union Struggle Committee demanding the amendment of G.O 317. He said that there were many shortcomings in the GO and opposed this. 17 job unions were protesting on the roads.
He questioned the government as to why it was not withdrawing when so many people were protesting. He reminded that the Telangana movement was based on locality. Now the government is incensed that these employees have to be evicted from their local areas. The couple should be given the opportunity to be close to each other, he was incensed that at least this opportunity was not even given to the disabled people.

How can the employees do their jobs? Should they stop? Kodandaram said. They demanded that the seniority list of districts be released. He said appointments were not made in a democratic manner. However, he warned that it is not right for employees to commit suicide due to this problem. He said his support will always be for employees.
