The police investigation in the rape and murder case of Disha is revealing shocking facts with the Special Investigation Team’s further probe. With the state government deploying a dedicated 12 membered SIT to intensify the probe, a total of 7 teams were formed to dig the case in accordance to the statements given by the accused as part of the interrogation. These 7 teams have seven police personnel each including CP, SI and a constable which in turn puts up to nearly 50 policemen who would be dedicated to Disha’s case.
Amidst this, the investigation team revealed that a police team has recovered the mobile phone of the victim which went missing from the day of the brutal incident. The four accused who are being interrogated inside the Cherlapally jail premises are reportedly revealing the shocking facts, amidst which the place where they hid Disha’s cellphone was tracked out. A special team that reached to the location which was a kilometre away from the Tondupalli toll plaza, recovered Disha’s mobile on Thursday. One of the accused confronted that he switched off the mobile and buried it out the fear that it would turn into a crucial clue if recovered by the police. On the other hand, Clues and forensic expert teams are examining the seized lorry and other clues recovered.
