Actor Sonu Sood who turned into a demigod for thousands of migrant who were stranded in Mumbai is now facing the flare of an unexpected criticism. Amidst the accusations that the actor is simply enacting a political script written by BJP, reports surfaced that the actor was blocked outside the Bandra Terminus in Mumbai by police from meeting labourers.
Taking to the unexpected political angle to selfless help, Sonu Sood took to the social media to clarify that nothing as such happened. Further adding, the actor thanked Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackery for helping him organise a train for migrant workers.
Just to set the record straight – I was not stopped from entering the station. I absolutely respect the protocols and have duly followed it.
I had requested the state government for the train so that I could send the migrants back home to reunite them with their families.

These reports which came hours after Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece Saamana slammed the actor for arranging transportation for the labourers who were supposed to take the Shramik Special trains in the view of safety concerns. Followed by which, pictures of Sonu Sood alongside Chief Minister and Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray came as a shock to the netizens while the latter lauded Sonu Sood’s initiative to arrange buses for stranded migrant workers.
