Blazing Andhra Pradesh gets good news..! According to the recent reports from Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Southwest monsoon, which entered Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, is expected to cover most of the state by Tuesday. It is likely to move west-northwestward and become more marked during the subsequent 24 hours. Under the influence of which, the state is expected to receive widespread rainfall from Tuesday to Thursday.
While the southwest monsoon has already started showing an influence in some parts of Rayalaseema, fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea and along and off coastal A.P. while wind speed reaching 40 to 50 km/hr. Till Monday morning, Anakapalle in Visakhapatnam, Vepada in Vizianagaram and Urvakonda in Anantapur district received 1 cm rain. Highest day temperature of 41.6-degree Celsius was recorded in Jangamaheswarapuram of Guntur.
