A series of lockdowns has left the film industry in huge loss with theaters shut and shootings coming to an unexpected halt. With the government giving a nod for the theatrical releases, the market opened up with a roll of makers announcing the release dates in the 1st and 2nd weeks of September.
However, the makers of these films fell in splits with the reports over the government of Andhra Pradesh contemplating to issue a newly revised GO hiking the ticket price.
Reports also have it that the Tollywood biggies sought YS Jaganmohan Reddy’s appointment to discuss the same. Once the CM is back from the holiday, the GO is speculated to be released probably in the second week of September.
This is learned to be the reason why the makers of Gopichand’s ‘Seetimaarr’ and Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Love Story’ postponed the release date.
