While CBI and ED are grilling actress and the main accused Rhea Chakraborty in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide, various media houses and social media channels flooded with the number of hashtags demanding justice for the late actor. However, things took an interesting turn with Rhea’s recent interview revealing her angle of the story.
Lashing out on the witch-hunting and media trial in the death case, Rhea demanded a fair trial and urged the people to trend ‘Justice For Rhea’. Responding to the same, Manchu Lakshmi shared a note on her Twitter handle in support of Rhea. She also called onto her industry colleagues to stand up Rhea.

In no time, the actress who also tried her luck as TV host fond support in Taapsee Pannu who re-tweeted Lakshmi’s post pointing out ‘how wrong it is to overtake judiciary to convict someone who isn’t proven guilty.’

This move from the actresses drew flak from the steeple who took to the comments box to fume for supporting Rhea. Meanwhile, Mallika Singh, niece of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput hit back Lakshmi’s tweet. “I’m surprised that right now, some people are suddenly remembering what ‘pain of a family’ and ‘standing up for a colleague’ means,” read her reply.
