ToliVelugu exclusive review for most awaited ‘Sye Rao’ by Kathi Mahesh
“Released on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi, the movie stood up to the expectations of inducing a feeling of patriotism. Chiranjeevi’s performance as Syeraa Narasimha Reddy took the movie to another level. Amitabh Bachchan, Sudeep and Vijay Sethupathi added a glint to the movie and well-supported the director zeal in narrating the story. Though the story lag and redundant love scenes sidetracked the spirit of the movie, the spectacular pre-interval sequence created quite a hype.
The awe-inspiring climax scene makes you lose sight of the length of the film which felt annoying at some point. 170 minutes is a tad too long. The film will certainly fit our hearts with patriotism. Female leads, Tamanna and Nayanatara have done a commendable job as always. However, Tamanna’s character has got a lot of elevation. The background score and the technicalities stood as the strength of this periodic film. Director Surender Reddy has proved himself and there is no doubt that ‘Sye Raa’ will take his career graph to the next level.
