’Sye Raa’ will stand as an inspiration for generations to come,” asserted Megastar in the pre-release event of his upcoming sensation movie. Walking his talk, the untold story of India’s first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy is now going to be a comic-book character. As announced during the pre-release event itself, it is now official that popular Indian comic book company Amar Chitra Katha collaborated with Konidala Pro Company to release an exclusive comic on the forgotten hero. Titled as ‘Narasimha Reddy – The Lion of Rayalaseema’, the comic story reveals the revolt led by Narasimha Reddy in the 1840s against the British East India Company. Amar Chitra Katha Comics took to their official twitter account to announce this next big thing. “He brought together 5000 men & women of Rayalaseema & trained them into a fighting force to stand against the British. His story is not in our textbooks but it is a story that needs to be told. Continuing @ACKComic ‘s tradition of bringing to the fore, India’s forgotten heroes,” they tweeted. ACK Comics also thanked Rana Daggubati and Kwan South for making it possible.
