The BCCI on Wednesday has announced the most-awaited India’s 15-man squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup to be played in the UAE and Oman in October and November.

“(I) spoke to him in Dubai. He agreed to be a mentor for the World T20 only and I discussed it with my colleagues and all are on the same page. I spoke to captain (Virat Kohli) and vice-captain (Rohit Sharma) and everyone agreed,” stated BCCI secretary Jay Shah in a press conference.
The 40-year-old Dhoni announced his retirement last year with India Vs New Zealand as his last international cricket match. Dhoni is currently with his IPL team Chennai Super Kings, waiting to play the league in UAE from September 19th.
