Sushi Infra was the name that was heard loudly during the Munugodu by-elections. TRS has alleged that the BJP at the Center has illegally awarded contracts to this company owned by BJP candidate Rajagopal Reddy. It has been criticized that he joined the BJP because of those contracts worth Rs.18,000 crore. This weapon was used well in the election campaign. Now the election is over. TRS won. But during Prime Minister Modi’s visit, he met Rajagopal and told him the courage to fight that I am there.
Two days after Modi’s tour, Rajagopal Reddy’s companies in the state had become targets. State GST officials raided Sushi Infra in Banjara Hills MLA Colony. It seems that these searches are being conducted in other places along with Sushi Infra across the state. GST officers are investigating Sushi Infra for allegedly evading taxes due under state GST.
Komatireddy Sankeerth Reddy, son of Rajagopal Reddy, is the MD of Sushi Infra. Sankeerth also made a statement through Twitter that his company was being abused during the election.
On the other hand, Rajagopal Reddy protested in Munugodu against the behavior of the state government. He staged a dharna claiming that the government is withdrawing the money deposited in Gollakurumala bank accounts to win the by-election. This protest program was held at Ambedkar Square in Munugodu mandal center under the leadership of BJP saying that KCR Sarkar had cheated the farmers.
