Chennai: TDP senior leader and former MP Siva Prasad (68) breathes his last receiving treatment at Apollo hospitals in Chennai. His family members took to the media that Siva Prasad was declared dead at 2:07 PM today suffering from kidney disease for the past few days. Fans and followers reached the hospital to catch the glimpse of their leader for one last time. On September 12th, Siva Prasad fell ill and was admitted in Tirupati SVIMS hospital after which he was shifted to Apollo hospitals in Chennai. Hospital authorities informed that his health condition kept deteriorating from the last few days and was shifted onto the ventilator on Friday.
N. Siva Prasad contested and won from Chittoor constituency in 2009 and 2014. He left his footprints in the Telugu film industry as a director introducing stars like Roja Selvamani. He grabbed the national media’s attention with his artistic way of protests seeking special status for Andhra Pradesh.
