In a roll of shocking revelations followed by his resignation, one of the TDP’s leaders who was claimed to be one of the loyal leaders came down heavily on the party and supremo. Hours after Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan called out for a media meet extending support to the ruling YSRCP party, Chandrababu Naidu has called for an emergency meeting with the party cadre to decide upon the course of action followed by the series of resignations. The meeting was attended by the senior leaders, former ministers and public representatives who later decided to issue a show-cause notice to Vamsi. Expelling him from the party, the supremo has sought an explanation over his anti-party activities in recent times. Issued by the name of TDP disciplinary committee chairman Varla Ramaiah, the notice instructed Vamsi to respond within the next 15 days.
On the other hand, Vamsi filed a complaint against TDP leaders and supporters for targeting him on social media with abusive comments. Upon meeting the Vijayawada Commissioner of Police Dwaraka Tirumala Rao, Vamsi requested the former to take immediate action. On this note, the party has also made it clear that they would soon approach the Speaker, seeking Vamsi’s disqualification as a legislator.
