Days after hinting upon flagging her own political party in Telangana, YS Sharmila seems to have intensified her efforts from the past two days. With model code of conduct in force in the state, the daughter of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy, fondly called Rajanna has deferred her tours but intensified the paperwork of her party.
In a recent development, Sharmila after rounds of consultations with YSR loyalists, followers and confidants has appointed two senior, retired bureaucrats as the party advisors. Retired IAS officer K Prabhakar Reddy and former IPS officer Uday Kumar Sinha are reportedly appointed as the political advisors for the upcoming party.
For those who all are aware of YS regime, Prabhakar Reddy served as special secretary in YSR’s office while Uday Kumar Sinha was the Chief Security Officer for the former CM. It can be noted that both the bureaucrats met with Sharmila at Lotus Pond in Hyderabad on Wednesday.
Besides which, Sharmila was learnt to be in talks with another YSR loyalist Br Shafi, the president of Universal Islamic Research Centre president and renowned motivational speaker who is ready to render his service to the new party. Seems like Sharmila like her brother is going by ‘Team YRS’ formula bringing back all the YSR confidants into CMO.
