The National Commission for Backward Class turned furious over a series of cases registered against Q News chief, popular political activist, and journalist Chintapandu Naveen Kumar alias Teenmaar Mallanna. The Telangana DGP and the Hyderabad CP were ordered to appear in person for the hearing at 11 am on August 29th.
The panel also asked the officials to submit a comprehensive report with all the details of the cases filed against Teenmar Mallanna. NCBC member Talloju Achary said Mallanna had alleged undue harassment by Telangana police at the behest of the state government and sought a detailed inquiry and appropriate action.
It is to the known knowledge that On the 10th of this month, Teenmar Mallanna complained to the National BC Commission that the police were targeting and harassing him. He said that the hard disks and important files of the Q News office were confiscated.
