Leaving his footprint for the next few generations of directors, cinephiles cannot easily forget Teja’s ‘Chitram’ which set new records in the Tollywood industry back in 2000. While Teja’s recent release ‘Sita’ was a box-office disaster making it again an uphill task for the director to hit back to the track, he bounced back with the sequel of a trend-setting youth story.
Adding the excitement, reports have it that Teja’s son, Amithov Teja will be making his debut with this film. In a recent update, it was learnt that the project also marks the dynamic debut of Jr NTR’s brother-in-law, Narne Nithin and producer Suresh Babu’s son, Abhiram for ‘Chitram 1.1’.
While the film also marks the debut of 40 other newcomers, rumour mongers revealed that Tarak is all in for promoting his bro-in-law. Source added that Jr NTR and family along with several other dignitaries of Telugu cinema are expected to grace the launch of the film.
The female lead of the film is yet to be finalised and the director is reportedly planning to kickstart shooting in the first of April. RP Patnaik who offered a few chart bursters in combination with Teja will make a comeback as a music director with this project.
