Sources on Tuesday confirmed that the KCR-led state government is contemplating on holding the monsoon assembly sessions after September 17, the Telangana Liberation Day.
While the government is speculated to hold the sessions in the second week of September, it was scheduled on or after September 17th with increasing demands to formally acknowledge the day.
With this, the Telangana cabinet meeting will be held on September 16 at 2 pm at Pragati Bhavan which will discuss the assembly sessions.
Sources revealed that the cabinet would narrow down on bringing legitimacy to the recently launched Dalit Bandhu scheme. Seems like the CM KCR wants to provide legality to the scheme in light of the ongoing court cases against the implementations.
