The situation of farmers has clearly worsened in Telangana. The ripe crop has no price and the markets are flooded with fraud agents. Farmers are clearly drowning in debts and many are looking forward to committing suicide. In the last few months, we have already seen many farmers do so. With all this going on, there seems to be no change in the situation of markets.
Farmers are doing protests at Warangal’s Enumamula Market. The office was besieged as the price of chili was declining day by day. Allegedly, traders are deliberately controlling prices. The price, which was Rs 18,600 at the beginning of the season, is now falling to Rs 17,000.
Farmers brought chilies from about seven or eight districts in northern Telangana for sale. They all went to the market to worry. Slogans were chanted against the ruling class. Farmers are voicing that investments have now doubled compared to the past.

Knowing what the farmers were protesting, the police reached there and tried to calm them down. However, the farmers demanded that they will stop the protests only when the chairperson comes down and helps them out.
