Telangana Minister KTR conducted a review on the development of the old city in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Speaking on this occasion, KTR made it clear that their aim is to develop the city beyond regions and parties. He said that the work related to the road network in the old city is going on fast.
He said that the development of the city of Hyderabad is already expanding in four directions and moving forward with excellent progress. Many flyovers and road construction have been completed and the authorities have been ordered to speed up road dividing works in densely populated areas like Old Town.
KTR said that special attention has been paid to the maintenance of sanitation in Charminar, Chowmahalla Palace, Madina, Mecca Masjid, Salarjung Museum, and other tourist areas. It has been announced that they are ready to allocate more funds for land acquisition.
Along with traffic junctions, foot-over bridges and bridges over Musi have been speeded up, he said. He said that the drinking water supply has improved in the old town in the last 8 years. Minister KTR said that the electricity supply system has improved in Hyderabad as well as in Old Basti.
