With the growing number of COVID cases in Telangana state, the medical health department is currently on high alert after 3 months of static situation. In this regard, the authorities gave some key references to this. They mentioned that the Coronavirus is still with us and it will take some time for it to be completely eradicated, said Telangana Public Health Director (DH) Srinivasa Rao. He suggested that all people must wear a mask in public places and on trips. As the corona cases are on the rise again, vigilant Telangana medical health officials have advised people to take precautions.
The corona is currently in the endemic phase. It could be the end of this year or the middle of next year. With the cases currently being registered, the Fourth Wave is unlikely to hit the country or the state. This increase is likely to continue for another six months. The Department of Public Health has made it clear that it is not concerned with the increase in cases. DH Srinivasa Rao explained that the state saw a 56 percent increase with 355 cases last week and 555 this week. There are 811 active cases in the state. No hospitalizations or deaths. More than 100 cases have been reported in three days. Immunization is achieved by almost completing the vaccination. Precautions should be taken during the rainy season. Children need vaccination the most. Vaccination is available for 12–18-year-olds.
At present, hospital admissions and deaths are very low. Vaccination Nearly one hundred percent completion has increased immunity in the population. Although the number of cases is currently increasing it may not be the cause of the Fourth Wave. Appropriate precautions should be taken to prevent infection with the virus. It is advised not to forget to wear a mask when traveling in public places. It is best to follow a number of precautions while keeping people socially isolated until the total elimination of the Covid virus.
