The COVID cases are going up in Telangana, the wreck it is causing is clearly visible. The rate at which the number of cases is increasing day by day is way less than the speed at which people are recovering. In this context, Ministers Harish Rao, KTR, Errabelli Dayakar conducted a review on the increase in corona cases. They decided to implement new strategies to build safety and provide better tools to fight the pandemic. The review was attended by senior officials including CS Somesh and all district collectors.
Minister Harish Rao spoke to the media after the meeting. He said the state-wide fever survey would be conducted once again from Friday. Health workers said they would give home isolation kits to those with symptoms back home.
Harish announced that there are currently two crore testing kits available in the state along with one crore home isolation kits. All PHCs, he said, made them available at Basti hospitals. He said 77 percent of the population has gotten the second dose so far.
The distribution of medical kits in the state is ideal for the country, said Harish. People are advised to be careful as cases are on the rise. Harish said government instructions must be followed.
