While the central government started easing down the lockdown restrictions, India’s Corona graph was seen taking a constant spurt while the country on Thursday recorded the highest single-day spike of 83,883 cases. Telugu states as well are registering a constant increase in the positive cases as Telangana government recently confirmed the second wave.
Amidst which, the villages in Telangana turned into new hotspots due to the reverse migration during the lockdown. While the state government claimed to have situations under control, VRK Puram in Mulugu district hit to the headline as the whole village tested positive for the deadly viral infection.
Into details, the village which houses over 500 houses is battling the pandemic as at least one from each family has tested positive according to the data. When probed, it was learnt that a family in the village held a funeral which was attended by almost every family in the village.
Days after which, over 100 people who attended the funeral were learnt to turn positive rising tensions in and villages around VRK Puram. According to the officials, the number of cases will shot up after testing the primary and secondary contacts of the infected.
As the whole village is now under complete isolation, medical and police officials were reportedly taking stock of the situation continuously. This has come as a challenge to the farmers who needs to purchase of seeds, fertilisers and equipment with cultivation season right around the corner.
