In the wake of a series of cases where on-field journalist turning positive to the dreadful coronavirus, Andhra Pradesh media was left with a jolt while the Telugu journalist working in Delhi tested positive.
A journalist who works in Delhi as a reporter for 10 TV, one of the leading channels in AP on Saturday turned positive to COVID-19. Later identified as Gopi Krishna, the journalist started displaying Corona symptoms from the past few days who later went through the tests. Gopi Krishna’s test results set ripples in the Telugu media community in Delhi who tend to attend all the event together.
Officials are now tracing down the contacts and details of the fellow journalists and people who came into contact with the journey from the past few days. Stating that the Telugu journo was shifted to isolation ward immediately, health officials informed that his family members and all primary contacts are placed under quarantine.
This heat has even touched Kishan Reddy, the Minister of Home Affairs who addressed a number of media meetings attended by Gopi Krishna. It was also learnt the minister also had three exclusive interviews with the infected 10 TV representative. With this, speculations that Kishan Reddy is likely to be sent to home quarantine are taking rounds in Delhi media circles.
