Thai Soccer team coach offers apologizes to the Parents
The 25-year-old Ekkapol Chantawong, the football coach of Thai Under16 Soccer team which got stuck in the Thai caves offered his apologies to the parents. He along with the children aged between 11-16 have gone missing from June 23 until they were discovered on a muddy ledge by rescue divers on Monday.
“To all the parents, all the kids are still fine. I promise to take the very best care of the kids,” he said in a note given to a diver on Friday and published on the Thai Navy SEAL Facebook page on Saturday.
“Thank you for all the moral support and I apologize to the parents,” said in a note given to a diver on Friday.
The government officials are trying their best to extract the kids and coach out of the cave at the earliest and a massive rescue operation is underway.
