It has been two years for Thalaiva Rajini’s political entry being at buzz. While the fans and followers of Rajinikanth across the state eagerly await the superstar’s ‘official’ plunge into politics, sources close to Rajini now confirmed news which came as a bombshell.
According to the reports, corona came as a major hurdle for the 69-year-old actor is most likely to refrain from contesting in the upcoming assembly polls in 2021. It was revealed that the actor is cornered over the health of hundreds of supporters who will participate in the campaigning given his political entry.
Soon after, social media trended with various hashtags expressing disappointment over the rumoured news. In the wake of which the actor took to his Twitter account to deny ownership of a statement that was rumoured to be his claiming that he was quitting politics.
He, however, stated that being a convalescing kidney transplant patient he was contemplating on coming outdoors if he would make a political foray.
It can be noted that Rajini even postponed the shooting of Siva’s ’Annatthe’ owing to the pandemic situation. The actor has also opted out of a film with Raaj Kamal Films International and hasn’t signed any other new film.
