Finally, after eight years, the TRS government has responded to illegal constructions. No matter how stringent the laws are, the ruling party leaders are known for tweaking them to fill their pockets. On this note, municipality department under HMDA will release a report disclosing the amount looted by the ‘Pink’ gang through illegal land occupations.
However, ToliVelugu crime bureau has unveiled the irregularities well ahead of HMDA. The channel has exposed the dark side of the ruling party leaders which includes irregularities of over Rs 10 crores in 10 constituencies while except for one constituency, the others come under the Telangana state assembly. The saga of how the Rashtra Samithi leaders have turned into real estate companies was also published that will be officially unveiled on January 1st.

With over Rs 5 lakhs for each construction, the ‘Pink’ gang were learned to run 200 crore illegal businesses in the last three years.
Serilingampalle now turned into an adda for illegal constructions. There are allegations that the constructions companies are running crores of business under the assurance of TRS MLA. Gold Stone Prasad owns hundreds of acres of land here while most of the constructions are taking place in lands occupying ponds. Ambir Pond, Kindikuntam, Sunnam Pond, and about 9 such ponds are filled up by real estaters. It is unveiled that the real estate companies have reaped over Rs 15 crores in the past 15 years by occupying litigation land with survey No. 57 in Shanshiguda.
There is no need for introduction for illegal land dhandha in Narsing, Shamshabad and Manikonda. Including Bandlguda Jahangir there are over two thousand illegal constructions in 11 G.O area. As estimated illegal real estate business of worth over Rs 150 crore taken place in three years.
It is known that the audiotapes of Minister Mallareddy’s real estate deals have been leaked. The three national highways and a 40 km outer ring road have made this area a golden goose. TRS ground-level leaders in North-east Hyderabad are learned to sell the plots in this area for Rs 4 – 10 lakhs. It is estimated that about 6,000 illegal houses were built in Boduppal and Firzadiguda corporations, Nagaram, Dammaigudha, Ghatkesar, and Medchal municipalities that fall under Mallaredy’s area
For seven years, the TRS leaders themselves had a large share in the illegal structures. There are allegations that everyone, including Sudhir Reddy, who won from the Congress and joined the TRS, had a stake in the illegal structures. With the officials heading to the ruling party leaders, it is learned that about Rs 100 crore business was run so far. The minister’s followers are illegally setting up ventures in Meerpet, Badangpet corporations and Jalpally municipalities. The gram panchayat is selling lay-outs with old dates and are resorting to land settlements creating litigations while the BJP counselor who questioned this was attacked.
While the real estate business is claimed to be one of the booming sectors which taken to advantage of by the ruling party leaders irrespective of the political party, we have to wait and see if IAS Arvind Kumar’s recent report will bring a change in the illegal dhandha.
