There is no denying in the fact ‘better the sync between bureaucrats and the Chief Minister, the smoother state administration would be’. What if the friction between the main pillars of Chief Minister office leads to disturbances in administration which in turn ends up in transfers? Anyone who is aware of the scenarios in Andhra Pradesh CMO would come up with former Chief Secretary LV Subramanyam’s name when the above question pops up. It is an open secret that the authority clash between him and Praveen Prakash is the main reason behind his abrupt transfer. And now, sources from CMO and Secretariat revealed that the same has started off with the new CS Nilam Sahani.
If the information is believed to be true, the differences between CS Nilam and Principal Secretary Praveen Prakash has been intensifying with each passing day. Many of the officials at the CMO are now recollecting the scenarios prevailed while LV Subramanyam was the CS. A few of the close sources confronted that a couple of times the bureaucrats had a heated argument over certain issues which left everyone over there in shock. Praveen Prakash was said to be insisting Sahani over the decisions according to his will which apparently didn’t go well with the latter. Reportedly, there were instances where Sahani openly expressed her discontent over orders being issued in the name of the general secretary instead of the Chief Secretary’s. According to the AP Secretariat sources, this issue has already reached to Jagan and is waiting for a decision to be taken.
