Crime Bureau, Tolivelugu: The case of Guntur Chinna Kakani NRI Medical College is getting stuck. In the past, Tolivelugu published several articles titled ‘NRI Megha Encroachment. At that time, Tolivelugu gave a series of stories that they took the money and gave it to the benami directors of the Megha company, saying that they would give a medical college to the management of Mr. Chaitanya. Even though the cases have been registered, they are running away with the help of the authorities.
But the truth is inevitable. It cannot be hidden for long. Recently, BS Rao, owner of Shree Chaitanya Junior College has opened up. He went on to say that he was cheated. He said that in 2012-13, they planned on buying lands, and buildings to expand their colleges. He alleged that 310 crores were taken.
He lamented that Megha caused various problems by not handing over the colleges and not giving money to them as per the agreements. He said that in 2016, they wrote an agreement with the leaders of the main parties in AP, believing that they would make a settlement. After that, he complained that he was cheated once again by not complying with the agreement.
It was said that they will take cheques and give cash in 2019. But even then they failed to keep their word. He said that the cheques bounced when deposited in the bank. He filed a complaint in Hyderabad CCS for Rs. 300 crores and 6 FIRs have been registered.
He sold the property even though it was not his.
The property is not his. At least they don’t make a sale-off agreement. But everyone believes that Ramesh Lingamaneni is a professional in extracting money from people making promises like closing deals. B.S Rao said that they had cheated on their family. The victims say that even after years, the money is not returned and the property is not given. It is said that even after a decade, there will be no such thing. It is claimed that it is a civil matter and they put pressure on the police and get away with it. In this regard, there are reports that the DGP of Telangana got a call and prevented the arrests.
Even after years, justice is still not done, and the management of Sri Chaitanya College criticized the media. Lingamaneni went to the Supreme Court on the scams. The Supreme Court ordered to pay the borrowed amount along with interest. But we can understand how hard it was to ignore the orders of the Supreme Court. It seems that all the money has stopped there as no project has been completed despite the advances given in Amaravati lands.
