Seems like Shiv Sena which is moving pawns against BJP has finally figured its path to take the Chief Minister’s chair. While the alliance between Shiv Sena-NCP-Congress is taking the final cuts, sources revealed that the coalition gave a nod for Sena to head the state. As Congress is said to stick to the 14-14-14 sharing plan, Shiva Sena has reportedly locked with 16-14-12 formula which got the consent from the other two parties.
Followed by a series of developments like Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari sending a report to the Centre and Presidential rule imposed, Shiv Sena has finally made things clear to chief ministerial post for the party for all five years. It was known that the three parties have reached consensus over the 40-member Common Minimum Program and would make the statement official any time soon. Congress, Shiv Sena, and NCP held a joint meeting in Mumbai to refine an agreement of a possible alliance between them and also held further discussion on the Common Minimum Programme on Thursday. The process is expected to be completed by the 19th of this month.
