TPCC President Revanth Reddy’s ‘Hath Se Hath’ Jodo Yatra will continue in the Mahabubabad district. As part of this trip, Revanth Reddy was met by VRAs of Narsimhu Peta Mandal.
A petition was handed over to mention the pay scale and promotions of VRAs in the assembly and resolve the issue. KCR has been promising to give a pay scale to VRAs since 2017. But so far that promise has not been fulfilled, he said.
He expressed his grief that even KTR was trusted and cheated during the indefinite strike in July 2022. The VRAs told Revanth Reddy that the pay scale will be given after the previous elections, but it has not been given yet.
Later, Revanth Reddy inquired about the problems of pepper farmers in Gopa Thanda near Nagaram. A woman named Banoth Lakshmi explained the problems in chili cultivation to Revanth. A petition has been handed over to ensure that a quintal is given an affordable price of Rs.22,000.
