Union Minister Kishan Reddy has said that the Union government will provide health cards to everyone, rich and poor alike. It was revealed that the Government of India is organizing health fairs at the council level across the country. He is of opinion that the people of the country are preferring to go to private hospitals, without utilizing government hospital facilities.
Kishan Reddy inaugurated the ‘Aarogya Mela’ at Keshava Memorial in Narayanguda, Hyderabad. He stated that the profiles of everyone can be found on the Aayushman Bharat Health Card. He said it will be very useful for poor and middle-class families.
He suggested that everyone should take advantage of the ‘Aarogya Mela’. It was clarified that the center has set up wellness centers. He also urged the people to go and get all doses of COVID vaccines as soon as possible, adding that the center has decided to give the vaccine to those above five years of age. He praised the medical staff for their dedicated service to the survivors during the corona.
Kishan Reddy went on to say that the Ayushman Bharat Scheme is being implemented in all states except Telangana. He said the Telangana government should also come forward to implement the Aayushman Bharat scheme. Kishan Reddy also urged the medical authorities to take initiative to make the Aayushman Bharat card available to poor people.
