It has been two months that the ChaySam fans broke as the couple announced their separation after a companionship of four years. While Chay remained mum after the separation, Sam went on a spiritual trip followed by signing a series of PAN-India and International projects.
In a recent interview with Film Companion, Samantha said that she remembers ‘crumbing’ and being ‘sad’, but the situation has taught her to not have any expectations. Now, during an interview with Filmfare, Samantha made shocking statements that moved her fans.
“I was surprised at how strong I was. I thought I was a much weaker person. I thought that with my separation, I would crumble and die. I didn’t think I was capable of being this strong. Today I’m very proud of how strong I’m because I didn’t know I was,” she said.
The actress talked about her ‘humble beginnings. “It destroyed me even further that I wasn’t good enough for all the love that I was receiving from the audience and I wasn’t good enough for all these big projects that I was getting. I’m still that girl asking all those questions but I stopped fighting it,” she added.
To the unversed, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya had tied the knot in a grand ceremony in 2017 after dating for several years. The couple ended their four years of marriage on October 2.
