The alliance between the budding JanaSena and BJP which has been trying all odds to conquer South India gave a shocking touch to the Andhra politics. While the parties decided to work hand-in-hand for the most prestigious GHMC elections, things seem to fall apart in the case of upcoming Tirupati by-polls.
Sources have to that both the parties has not not yet arrived at a consensus over the candidate to be fielded for Tirupati by-poll. While the JanaSena chief stated that a joint committee will decide the alliance candidate, the saffron team seems to have another story.
Despite announcing that BJP-JanaSena will work together for the by-polls, BJP State chief Somu Veerraju has been sending signals to various political circles that it is the BJP candidate who will be contesting. Further, it was learnt that the ‘Saffron’ cadre started conducting a ground-level meeting in the constituency over the same.
Meanwhile, Pawan who already stepped back in GHMC polls is reportedly disappointed with the recent developments. Trusted sources revealed Pawan has deployed an internal team to ascertain the political equations if it could contest alone.
Further, Pawan meeting farmers in the wake of severe backlash at Delhi over the farmer bills added fuel to the speculations. If JanaSena fields its party candidate. it will indeed a setback to BJP
