Seems things are going on Telugu States CMs’ side with a slew of political turbulences from the past few months. While the Telangana government is reeling from the humiliation in the recent Dubbaka by-polls and GHMC elections, the Andhra government is finding it hard with the wrath after the recent Eluru Mystery illness.
Meanwhile, the political heat up in AP even before the Election Commission has announced the model code for a by-election to the Tirupati (SC) Lok Sabha constituency. It is now a direct contest between ruling YSRC and Telugu Desam Party in the by-election.
It was learnt that the supremo Jagan has been a series of talks with ministers, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, and key YSRCP leaders of Chittoor and Nellore districts over the by-polls. According to party sources, the YSRC has finalised Dr Gurumuthy, who hails from Chittoor, as a candidate.
Speculation over the EC conducting the long-awaited panchayat anytime soon took momentum while the issue is still at the High Court. This has come as an uninvited problem to the ruling YSRCP which is already in neck-deep troubles with the recent Eluru incident, disparities in house pattas distribution and simmering discontent in the party cadre.
