Telangana- The result of the hardwork of millions of people. A symbol of the sacrifice of the martyrs. This would not have been possible with just one person doing anything, but it was a collective struggle that gathered people from all age groups and classes- students, employees, women, farmers, and all such people, who fought against the center and accomplished the separate state at last. But, did Telangana achieve the intended goals in these 8 years? The answer is mostly no.
The slogan of the Telangana movement is water, funds, and jobs. But were they possible under the TRS rule in self-governance? Yes, the water is going to KCR’s Farmhouse, the funds are going to TRS Leaders’ pockets and the jobs are being received by the Kalvakuntla family. On this occasion, the KCR family is highlighting the way they have grown financially. A recent tweet by TPCC chief Rewanth is a testament to that.
Revanth metaphorically said that the situation is just like snakes taking over and housing in the hills built by the ants. He stated that the state of Telangana which is accomplished through sweat and blood is now haunted by the TRS party. He questioned the authenticity of the TRS party amassing riches in the duration of just 8 years, as rich as the nizams or more. He mentioned that a generation of poverty lies under KCR’s fake projections of prestigious Telangana, and slammed TRS for continuously taking credit for the accomplishment of the Telangana state, while there are many other political parties and groups of people who fought for the same.
KTR and Harish Rao tweeted a photo with a bicycle. “Look at the TRS party itself, how many assets it once had, and how exponentially they progressed,” wrote Revanth. According to KCR at the latest plenary session, the TRS party alone has assets worth Rs 1,000 crore. According to Congress sources, Revanth is assuming that KCR’s family might have amassed a lot more wealth in recent times ever since they came to power. He concludes that there is in-depth poverty hiding beneath the prosperity TRS keeps talking about.
