Tolivelugu has been covering the story of the illicit activities carried forward by Phoenix Spaces Private Limited. The company is now facing back-to-back blows from the news coverage on multiple media platforms.
Ever since the inception of their illicit land possession activities in the Telugu cities, Tolivelugu spotted the loopholes and made it possible to reveal the real face of the corporate entity. The collective efforts were finally fruitful, and the HMDA Commissioner inquired about the Phoenix lands officially.
HMDA Commissioner responds to Phoenix’s ideology of ‘Our route is different’ in an angry manner. He expressed his angst on Phoenix’s land fixing activity of Hillside School (Root Society).
In 1996, the then government allotted two acres to the Root Educational Society. Leela Agarwal, a teacher, has been registered to build only schools, hostels, and teachers’ hostels. Ranura’s heirs handed her over to Phoenix in the hope that the school would run well and that she would make good money doing the real estate business. The school, as well as the government land, were eventually drawn into their plan.
The road leading to the GHMC Park area was also seized. There, along with the thousand yards, they exploited another thousand yards in the premises of Durgam pond.
Where did it all start?
The land that was given to Leela Agarwal was put out for sale to Phoenix by her heirs under the name of Hillside School. Therefore, in 2019, 3,844 yards of land (Document No. 5737/2019) was sold to Bommineni Bhaskar Reddy. It was subsequently registered with the same Phoenix sister company, Square Space Developers, at 3393/2021.
Agreements have been reached to buy the entire land for Rs 80 crore when this land should be used only for school. It seems that permission has been obtained from the government to acquire real estate even if it is known. Tolivelugu exposed the situation for the first time. In addition, the news about another 3,000 yards of government land seize was also shared on various platforms.
One week since GHMC sent notices:
On the 28th of last month, the Enforcement Directorate issued notices to the Route Education Society to demolish structures that were illegally located on government lands. It’s been a week or so. There has been no response since then.
Why did the HMDA Commissioner come?
HMDA Commissioner Arvind Kumar is staying at the Arogyasree Trust close to the Root Education Society. Walking there all day. However, he was unable to realize the scam that was going on. He took a walk towards the place after getting to know the situation through Tolivelugu’s coverage. He says that the entrance to the place wasn’t clear.
With this, he went to Hillside School in the morning. Security said there was no way out and that was how he identified the structures that had been constructed illegally in the name of Arogya Shree Trust.
The GHMC officer accompanied Shailaja and the other staff and went inside. The occupants of the land set aside for the Jubilee Hills Society Park were found to have been put in possession. Shortly after entering the Phoenix, she saw a TDP leader begin building two-story buildings within a thousand yards of the Park area.
They occupied the whole area without leaving access to the park. All these matters came to the notice of Arvind Kumar. However, no official has said when the demolition will take place.
Phoenix: The Tree of Nameless Owners!
Phoenix India Company is a magical paradise on earth. Politicians are stepping stones to illicit earnings. Phoenix Company has 15 directors as benefactors. Each land is set up by a company and all the scandals are managed.
Raghu Rayal, Srikanth Penke, Bhaskar Reddy Bommineni, and Venkataramana Murthy are the directors for the Square Space Developers formed for the Root Educational Society land. However, Benami directors have been added to more than a dozen companies in a very short span of time. Let’s see in another story, “Phoenix as a benevolent tree of the Benami (faceless owners/benefactors)”.
