Do some plantation activities, instead of flexies- this is the call that KTR gives to TRS leaders every time. However, there are no records of TRS leaders listening to him. They keep competing every time to prove their devotion. In general, all the party members pay attention to their leaders and follow certain rules set by them. But TRS leaders do not hold back. A good example of this is the setting up of flexies.
If at all there is any event, and KTR is stepping out of Pragati Bhavan, we can notice that every step of the way, the roads, giant boards on the roadsides, everything turns pink. Whether it is Hyderabad or a district tour, there is no change in the situation. KTR recently went on a tour of Warangal. However, the work done by Mayor Sudharani has become a topic of discussion. Large flexies and cutouts were set up without any permission.
Despite being the mayor of the city, she broke all the rules. Until Tolivelugu highlighted the issue, the authorities haven’t responded to the incident. The mayor was fined Rs 2 lakh, other leaders were fined up to Rs 50,000. In Hyderabad, such things happen very often. But the question that is being asked here is, despite knowing that flexies should not be set up, even with the orders from the party’s working president the TRS members continue to do so.
These incidents are raising so many questions. Is KTR, who openly says not to place flexies secretly encouraging the party members to do so? What kind of action should be taken against the TRS members for placing flexies even after knowing that it is a chargeable offense? If the same common sticks a TO-LET board to his house gate, he is generally slammed with hefty fines, and the officers immediately show up and impose it. But, why is everyone silent over the giant flexies set up by TRS members, and why did they wait until the media took note of it, and questioned it? many such questions are being posed at this point.
The TRS Plenary Session will be held in Hyderabad soon. Opposition parties are of the belief that a similar thing will happen again. Authorities say that the TRS members will keep setting up the flex boards throughout the city and will deal with the fines later, as usual. They are actually reminding us of the events that took place during the last Plenary.
