Illegal sand mining continues unabated from Dundibi creek under Midzil mandal of Mahbubnagar district. Nobody cares about sand mafia-like smuggling continues day and night. Sand is being illegally transported from Dundubhi River in Middle Mandal to Jadcharla, Shad Nagar, Kalvakurti, and other areas with Bharat Benzes. The sand mafia is getting agitated with the support of local politicians. Police, Revenue, and Mining Department officials are facing many criticisms for not taking care of it. It was in this background that the sand mafia launched an attack on Judges SI Venkatesh.
On Monday, SI Venkatesh tried to stop the sand van on information that sand was being illegally transported from Dundubhi brook on National Highway 44. In this sequence, Judcharla SI Venkatesh, who was riding a police patrolling two-wheeler, was hit by a sand mafia Bharat Benz lorry. As a result, the two-wheeler in which SI was traveling was slightly damaged. However, SI was not injured. Meanwhile, the SI asked the sand mafia to stop the vehicle, but instead of stopping it, they attacked Cine Fakki and tried to escape. With this, SI Venkatesh chased the lorry very cunningly and caught him. A man was also detained along with the lorry.
It is reliable information that the person has warned the police that he is a representative of the people and that he should leave him or else the consequences will be different. It is noteworthy that I have also come to the attention of the NGO about the efforts made by the sand mafia not to register a case by bringing pressure from a public representative on the police. Due to this, the attack of the sand mafia on the SI went viral on a large scale on social media, it seems that the sand mafia and the public representative have become silent. The Jadcharla police registered a case against Keshav Devender of Gutta Tanda, Jadcharla.
The sand mafia should be stopped
Diddi Praveen Kumar, a social activist and the president of the NGO, said that the sand mafia has increased day by day in the Mahabubnagar joint district and they have been fighting for the last eleven years to stop the sand mafia. He condemned the sand mafia attack on SI Venkatesh in Jadchar. Moreover, the police have demanded that strict action should be taken against the sand mafia by the revenue mining department officials so that such incidents do not repeat. Social activist Dindi Praveen Kumar clarified on this occasion that their struggle will continue until strict actions are pressed against the sand mafia and henceforth the sand mafia should stop its extortions and refrain from smuggling sand.
