The race for the TPCC chief post has reached new heights with the seniors leader who are in league rushing to the nation’s capital. While it has been an open secret that the party cadre is now divided into two main groups-seniors who are waiting the chief post from many years and juniors that support working president MP Revanth Reddy’s dynamic leadership.
Strong speculations that the high command in inclined towards Revanth has come as a thunder strong to senior leaders like Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Duddilla Sridhar Babu who rushed to Delhi to please the high command. As per the sources, the main agenda was to raise concern over the recent three-day exercise of taking individual opinions from senior Congress leaders.
While all eyes are now on AICC in-charge Manickam Tagore’s report to president Sonia Gandhi who will take the final call, senior leaders one after the other reaching Delhi has shifted the ‘Chief’ war to the nation’s capital.
Besides, Revanth, Komatireddy and Sreedhar Babu, CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, seniors like Sangareddy MLA T. Jayaprakash Reddy, AICC secretary Madhu Yashki and TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar are the other leader anticipating the leadership. The caste combinations is another crucial factor that is coming into play apart from the acceptability factor.
It was learnt that the final decision will be made after three to four weeks. The vacancy existed ever since Mr. Uttam sent his resignation to the High Command after the loss of Huzurnagar by-poll. All top leaders have been making their efforts.
