Nagarjuna Sagar MLA Nomula Narsimhaiah and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) crucial leader Nomula Narsimhaiah passed away at a private hospital in Hyderabad on Tuesday. The 64-year-old politician was reportedly rushed to the Apollo hospitals in the wee hours of Tuesday after e complained of chest pain.
In an official statement confirming the news, Apollo Hospital stated that “MLA Nomula Narasimhaiah was brought dead today at 5.30 AM.” The leader’s dead which came close on the same day of GHMC polls came as a shock to state TRS cadre. Chief Minister KCR and minister, TRS working president KTR expressed shock over the sudden demise of the MLA.

The two-time CPM MLA was associated with CPI(M) from his student days and joined the TRS in 2013 and won from Nagarjuna Sagar constituency in 2018. He had also worked as Mandal Parishad President (MPP) of Nakrekal for two terms.
