Chief Minister KCR, well known for his political strategies is currently brewing something else for the upcoming elections in the state. Political pundits say the TRS party has no choice but to express the state formation sentiment. They say that KCR has been following the same strategy since the beginning of the movement. It is visible that sentimental politics has declined in the state in recent times. However, after the remarks of Prime Minister Modi in Parliament, it is being said that KCR seems to be using that weapon once again.
KCR’s government is currently spreading the fear that the BJP will re-unite Telangana and Andhra Pradesh if at all they come to power. Already ministers Harish Rao and Thalassani Srinivas are raising the same issue no matter where they go. It is said that the TRS is telling people over and over the same thing, and trying to take advantage of the sentiment once again. Recently, minister KTR has joined the list of people preaching the same about the consequences of BJP coming to power.
In recent days, KTR toured Nizamabad and participated in many development programs. Speaking on the occasion, he said that if Narendra Modi gets another chance as the Prime Minister, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will be merged. The BJP government, which preaches about the greater good for the country, never speaks or shows what good they had done for the country. KTR accused Modi of playing the role of Prime Minister just to North India.
After Prime Minister Modi’s remarks on state partition in Parliament, the counter-attack from the TRS party increased. The party leaders carried out effigy burnings across the state. CM KCR in Janagama and Bhongiri sabhas criticized the center severely. KCR made some bold comments like taking down the walls of Delhi. Pundits believe that KCR is currently looking at national politics, calling it a public front. And at the same time, the campaign of possible states unification is picking up the pace, creating a new wave of sentiment among the people.
