Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam (TTD) which has become the epitome of controversies is now busy with corrective measures. In a clarification to the recent ‘Shree Yesaiah’ row triggered when several users found the word ‘Yesaiah’ in the search results on Google when searched for ‘TTD Calendar 2020’. Amidst the recent anti-Hindu propaganda allegations on the sacred Tirumala, Christ’s name popping up in the calendar links has added fuel to the allegations. While many of the devotees took to social media to post the screenshots, a few breathed fire on the trust. However, the board members of the trust arranged a press meet to clarify the issue. TTD Executive Officer (EO) Anil Kumar Singhal said that it was a problem with Google which wrongly displayed the word ‘Sriye’ as ‘Sri Yesaiah’. “It was a transliteration problem. The word ‘Yesaiah’ is nowhere found on the website, but was only displayed in the search results,” he added.
